COVID19 series - Belgian Wit (WIP)

Classic Belgian Wit

During COVID-19, I’m brewing a batch of beer every two weeks, with different styles, to have a good stock for summer. It allows me to experiment with different styles or improve beers I liked.

A classic Belgian Wit

I wanted to add another summer beer for this Covid19 series. What else that a Belgian Wit. Unfortunately I messed up with my ingredients and was out of flaked wheat so I had to use malted wheat so it’s not totally matching the style.

Post mash wort is light and a bit hazy. Taste of wheat is present already, this should give good results. The mix of coriander, orange and hops during boil is delightful.

Fermentation started after three hours and is really strong, making lovely bubble noises.
